Tanya joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2001 and works out of the firm's Knoxville, Tennessee satellite office. Tanya's area of practice is concentrated on Workers' Compensation Insurance Defense.

Born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada on March 24, 1965, Tanya was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2001 after relocating from Canada where she received her LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 1989, and was admitted to practice in the Province of Ontario in 1991, and the Province of New Brunswick in 1997. Tanya received her B.A. in English and History from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick in 1986. While in Canada, Tanya worked at the Workers' Compensation Board, Blue Cross and Economical Mutual Insurance.

Tanya and her husband, James Young, reside in Knoxville, Tennessee with their two dogs, Scout and Roxy.
