Alec Galloway joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 1995 and is currently a partner in the firm's Litigation Department. Insurance Defense and Product Liability Defense are his key areas of concentration. In addition, Mr. Galloway handles the defense of complex workers' compensation cases and insurance coverage disputes.

Born in Albany, New York, January 15, 1967, Alec received his J.D. from Mercer University Law School with honors in 1993. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1993 and the Tennessee Bar in 2001. He has worked for numerous insurance companies, third-party administrators, and self-insured companies in both the general liability and workers' compensation area, including Travelers Insurance Company, Home Builders Association of Georgia, Associated Services, Inc., General Accident Insurance Company and Associated Risk Services. He is a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, The Defense Research Institute, The Risk and Insurance Management Society, The Cobb Bar Association, The Atlanta Claims Association, Georgia Self-Insurers Association and the Insurance Defense and Product Liability Sections of the State Bar of Georgia. He also serves on the statewide Judicial Evaluation Committee. Mr. Galloway has been selected by Atlanta Magazine as one of Georgia's Super Lawyers "Rising Stars."

Alec lives in Kennesaw, has a beautiful daughter, Caitlin, and enjoys cooking and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
