Clay joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2006 as a member of the firm's Litigation Department. His practice is primarily in the areas of Trucking Law, Construction Law, Insurance Defense, and Insurance Coverage Law.  He is admitted to practice before all Georgia trial and appellate courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Born in Springdale, Arkansas on March 2, 1979, Clay soon moved to Alpharetta, Georgia where he was raised. He attended Furman University on a football scholarship where he played defensive end for the Paladins and received his B.A. in Business Administration in 2001. Clay was awarded his J.D. from the Georgia State University School of Law, cum laude, in 2006. While at Georgia State, Clay served as Associate Editor of Lead Articles on the Georgia State Law Review. He also had the honor of working in two externships during law school: the first with Judge Jack T. Camp, Chief Judge of the Northern District of Georgia, and the second with Glenn Richardson, Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives.
