Alex joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in July 2019 as a member of the litigation department. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Alex continued bartending for a short while after his undergraduate studies before attending law school at Marquette University, which is where he obtained his J.D. and graduated from in May 2016.
During his time in law school, Alex was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Review, the Real Estate Law Society, and the MULS Moot Court committee. His intellectual law review comment was chosen to be published and won the 2015-2016 Wisconsin State Bar Intellectual Property Annual Writing Competition. Alex also received a “Best Brief” award for a brief he co-authored for the National Appellate Advocacy Competition in spring 2016.
After graduating from law school, Alex stayed in Milwaukee for two years before deciding to move home to Atlanta in June 2018. During these two years in Milwaukee, Alex worked at a litigation defense firm called Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen, S.C., and a criminal defense firm named Meyer Van Severen, S.C.
Alex lives in Atlanta and dedicates his free time to family, friends, UGA football, the gym, and his dog, Griffey.
