Brent Baxley joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2022 as an associate attorney in the Knoxville, Tennessee office.
Brent is an East Tennessee native, raised just south of Knoxville in Seymour, Tennessee. He earned his Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from Georgia Tech with summa cum laude honors in 2007. In 2010, Brent received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School where he was an associate editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law.
Brent became a member of the Tennessee Bar in 2011. He began litigating civil matters at a general litigation firm in Nashville that year and eventually moved into the personal injury field in 2014. Prior to joining MIJS, Brent was general counsel for a mid-sized construction subcontractor and flipped houses on the side.
Brent focuses his practice primarily in the area of workers’ compensation defense and takes pride in representing his clients with professionalism, integrity, and tenacity.
In his free time, Brent enjoys running, and spending time with his family, friends, and two dogs.
