Born in Huntsville, Alabama, and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Chris graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2008. He moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he graduated with his law degree in 2013. While in law school, Chris served as the Executive Editor of the Tennessee Law Review, during which time he was awarded with the Top Second-Year Editor Award and the Silver Pen for Exemplary Case Note. He also received the Distinguished Student Attorney Award for his work in UT’s nationally ranked Advocacy Clinic and was recognized with the law school’s Pro Bono Service Award. Prior to joining Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, Chris served as a law clerk for multiple divisions of the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General.
Chris is admitted to the Tennessee Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association.
Chris lives in Nashville and enjoys film, Nashville Predators hockey, Chelsea FC soccer, and spending time with his family and friends.
