Debbie Haughton joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2017 in the firm’s Litigation and Employment Departments. Her prime areas of concentration are in employment law and business litigation, as well as human resource consulting and auditing.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Debbie was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2001 after receiving her J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Lamar Inn of Court. Debbie graduated magna cum laude with honors in 1993 from The University of Memphis with a major in English. She brings 15 years of litigation experience in employment, governmental liability, business, and commercial real estate to Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele. She is a member of the Cobb Bar Association.
Debbie lives in Marietta with her husband Brian, daughter Anne, and son William, where they enjoy community events, cooking, camping, and hiking. She is an Elder at Roswell Presbyterian Church, where she teaches a Sunday School class and volunteers in its neighborhood initiatives.
