Hope was born and raised in Cobb County Georgia. Immediately following her graduation from the University of Georgia, Hope worked for an Insurance Defense firm in Atlanta for a few years before attending Law School. During law school she clerked for an Insurance Defense firm, working primarily in the Workers’ Compensation department. Hope began her legal career representing Insurance Carriers and Employers in the area of Workers’ Compensation Defense with an Atlanta, Georgia insurance defense firm. After practicing in worker’s compensation defense for several years, Hope joined a Plaintiff’s practice where she represented Claimants in their workers compensation claims. Ultimately, Hope decided to return to the defense practice and joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2018. She has over 10 years combined experience in the workers’ compensation field and has handled claims at all levels from hearings at the ALJ level to the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Hope continues to live in Cobb County with her husband, Brett, a Cobb County Firefighter and their two daughters. Hope and her husband actively raise money and awareness for burn victims and firefighters killed or injured in the line of duty. They are also heavily involved in fighting for a cure for Childhood Cancer through the St Baldrick’s Foundation. Hope enjoys cheering on her beloved Georgia Bulldogs, spending time with her family, giving back to her community, and traveling.
