Liza Harrell joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2013 and her primary focus is intellectual property law, specifically procurement and enforcement of patents, trademarks, and copyrights in the US and internationally. Liza received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Earlham College and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University. Prior to earning her law degree cum laude, she was a high school chemistry teacher.
Liza began her legal career prosecuting pharmaceutical patents and representing a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer in patent infringement matters. She has also represented personal injury claimants against pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers as well as criminal defendants in DUI and drug cases.
Liza and her husband Bob enjoy hiking in the mountains with their dogs.
