Melina Gunby joined Moore Ingram Johnson and Steele in 2022. She works primarily out of the Jacksonville office but handles claims all throughout the state of Florida. She practices in the area Workers’ Compensation Defense.
Melina received her B.S.J.S. in Criminal Justice and her B.A. in Psychology from Georgia Southern University in 2017, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received her J.D. from the University of Georgia in 2021. During her time at the University of Georgia, she served as the president of the Older Wiser Law Students. She was also an active member of the First Generation Law Student Association, Athens Peer Court, and OUTLaw. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2021 and is admitted to practice before all state courts. Melina is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. She is a proud member of the Florida Bar Association.
Melina lives in Jacksonville with her husband, two dogs, and a cat. She enjoys hiking, reading, cross-stitching, and cheering on the Georgia Southern Eagles.
