Monique received her J.D. and Advanced Legal Writing, Research, & Drafting Certificate from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law. While in law school, Monique participated in Moot Court, Client Counseling, and was the chair of Mercer Law’s Negotiation team. Monique gained invaluable experience from her externship with the Honorable Philip T. Raymond, III of the Superior Court of Bibb County and internship with the Honorable Kelley S. Powell of the Probate Court of Henry County. During her third year of law school and under Georgia’s Student Practice Act, Monique advocated for victims of domestic violence while volunteering at the Safe Families Office of the Atlanta Volunteers Lawyers Foundation.
Monique is a native of Florida and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Writing & Rhetoric from the University of Central Florida. While studying at the University of Central Florida, Monique was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta professional law fraternity, Delta Zeta sorority, and a volunteer with the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
In her spare time, Monique enjoys hiking, relaxing with her two pets, Zeus and Ares, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Monique is currently an active member with the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta and is a Young Professionals Board Member for the Center of Family Resources located in Marietta, Georgia.
