Tanner Yancy joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2019 as an associate attorney in the Nashville litigation department. His practice primarily focuses on Workers’ Compensation law and Insurance Defense.
Raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Tanner graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2016. He then returned to Nashville to attend Belmont University College of Law. While in law school, Tanner served as the Symposium Director for the Belmont Health Law Journal as well as represented his class on the Student Bar Association. Prior to joining Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, Tanner spent time on Capitol Hill working on healthcare policy issues as well as a variety of regulatory matters.
Tanner lives in Nashville with his wife, Catherine. In his spare time, Tanner enjoys staying active by playing hockey and getting outdoors, as well as cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers and the Nashville Predators.
