We are happy to announce that Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Lourdes Sancerni as one of the Judges of Compensation Claims for the Orlando District. The FrankCrum Golf Invitational, held at Innisbrook Golf Resort, is an annual fundraising event for Trinity Cafe attended by hundreds of golfers and dozens of sponsors. “Every year, I’m more and more impressed by the tournament. We are so thankful for the big-heartedness of FrankCrum, the other tournament sponsors, and the golfers that come out to support Trinity Cafe,” says Jeff Darrey, founder of Trinity Cafe. “It’s significant contributions like this that make it possible for us to expand. We are so thankful for FrankCrum’s continued support.” The annual event has raised more than $1,000,000 to date.
Melissa Callender sits on the Event Planning Committee for the local non-profit, The Hope Box. The Hope Box tackles the issue of infant abandonment in Georgia by educating first responders and healthcare providers on Georgia’s Safe Haven laws. They also respond to mothers in crisis 24/7, providing trauma-informed, wrap-around care for mothers and babies.
“The most vulnerable in our society need a voice and an advocate. The Hope Box is filling that role and is working to improve outcomes for abandoned infants.”
