The Families First Coronavirus Response Act took effect, April 1, 2020. This legislation affects employers with fewer than 500 employees and some governmental agencies. Generally, the FFCRA is designed to provide economic relief for businesses and individuals in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
