Taylor Oldham joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele’s Lexington, Kentucky office in March 2024. Practicing primarily in Workers’ Compensation Defense, Taylor also has experience in estate planning, civil defense, subrogation, real estate matters, and contractual interpretation, drafting, and enforcement. He brings a practical, client-focused approach to resolving claims and disputes efficiently and effectively.
Born in Lexington, Taylor has deep roots in Central Kentucky and now calls Lebanon, in Marion County, home. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his MBA from the Gatton College of Business through the University’s joint JD/MBA program. Taylor’s longstanding ties to both Lexington and rural Kentucky, together with his active involvement in his local church and blue-collar community, give him valuable perspective into the people, workplaces, and practical realities that often shape claim resolution.
Taylor has practiced workers’ compensation defense for four years. During that time, he has obtained several dismissals before Administrative Law Judges and has successfully argued matters at each appellate level, including the Supreme Court of Kentucky. In addition to his workers’ compensation practice, Taylor has handled matters involving estate planning, civil defense, subrogation, real estate, and contract-related disputes and drafting. Outside the office, Taylor enjoys golf, football, basketball, and spending time with his family.
