Garett Franklyn is an associate licensed to practice in Tennessee and North Carolina. Garett joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2017 after practicing in Memphis handling federal and state criminal and civil matters. His current practice is primarily devoted to civil litigation with a focus on workers' compensation.

Garett was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where he attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in philosophy and a B.S. in mass communications. After that, he attended the University of Tennessee College of Law and graduated in 2016. While in law school, Garett was an executive editor with the Tennessee Law Review, where he received the Silver Pen award for exemplary case note and the Galligan and Ramsey editing award, though his most rewarding experience was meeting his future wife there. As a student, he also worked for several Knoxville law firms, was a research assistant for three professors, and interned with the Tennessee 16th Judicial District.

In his practice, Garett is dedicated to providing clients with exceptional legal representation that emphasizes clear communication, responsiveness, and accessibility. He prides himself on a proactive approach to claims that helps facilitate meaningful and swift resolutions, while providing strategic solutions to help clients avoid future issues

In his free time, Garett enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, overindulging their two cats, and rooting for the Vols.
