Ayanna is a Georgia native who completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, where she graduated with distinction & earned a certificate in Sports and Entertainment Law.

At GSU Law, Ayanna distinguished herself through leadership and involvement in several organizations, including the Student Trial Lawyers Association, Black Law Students Association Executive Board, BLSA Moot Court Team—where she received the Best Oralist Award at the SRBLSA Moot Court Competition—the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, LatinX and Caribbean Law Student Association, and several nonprofit organizations.

Before joining Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, LLP, Ayanna interned with the Georgia Public Defender Council’s Mental Health and Gang & RICO Units, Johnson and Freeman, LLC, and served as second chair in a felony murder case with The Law Ladies. Additionally, she externed with the DeKalb County Public Defender’s Office under the Third Year Practice Act, mentored with the Gate City Bar Association’s Justice Benham Law Camp, and served as a Litigation Associate for GSU's trial advocacy program.
