Isaiah E. James joined Moore, Ingram, Johnson, & Steele in 2026. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and works in the Jacksonville office. Isaiah practices primarily in Worker’s Compensation Defense.
Isaiah received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Florida. Isaiah continued his education and received his juris doctorate at Western Michigan University Law School. Isaiah was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016.
Prior to joining MIJS, Isaiah gained experience primarily ligating cases involving first party property disputes, fair housing, and family law matters. Isaiah began his legal career working as staff attorney with the Florida Department of Children & Families, Seventh Circuit, handling cases involving abused, abandoned, or neglected children.
Outside of work, Isaiah enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is also a loyal fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
