Phenisha Bresnock began working with MIJS in 2022 as an Associate Attorney in the firms Insurance / Liability Defense Department.
Phenisha graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kennesaw State University with a major in Political Science, and a minor in Dispute Resolution. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law. While attending law school she was President of the Parents Attending Law School organization and received high honors for her Pro Bono work.
She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2018. She is also admitted to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. Additionally, she is a member of the Georgia Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution, and the Cobb County Bar Association,
Before joining Moore Ingram Johnson and Steele, Phenisha enjoyed a career in the insurance industry, practiced Community Association Law, and drafted legislation in the office of State Senator, Dean Burke, where she served as a Health Law and Policy Analyst.
