Laken Scott joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2026 and works out of the firm’s Tennessee office.
Born in East Tennessee, Laken received her B.A. in Law and Politics and B.S. in Cybersecurity from Freed-Hardeman University in 2021. She received her J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law in 2024. During law school, Laken served as Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, Treasurer of the Immigration Law Society, and was a founding member of LMU’s Expungement Clinic. She was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in 2024, where she practiced immigration law before moving back to her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. She was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 2025, where she practiced juvenile law before transitioning into workers’ compensation.
Outside of the office, Laken enjoys reading, pickleball, and kayaking.
