The 2022 Georgia Legal Food Frenzy (LFF) is officially underway! The fundraiser began on April 18, 2022 and runs through next Friday, April 29, 2022.
For those not already familiar, the Attorney General and YLD partner with Georgia’s Food Banks to host the LFF, a fundraising competition among Georgia law firms, legal organizations, corporate in-house counsel, and judicial circuits. The team that earns the most points (based on a per person average – attorneys and staff) will be awarded with the prestigious “Attorney General’s Cup.” We want to win the Cup – and we need EVERYONE in the office to be on board!
This year’s competition is more important than ever because of that increased need. IT’S SHOCKING: Georgia’s food banks have been responding to a 30% increase in need for food assistance since the onset of the pandemic. 1 in 6 Georgia children are at risk for hunger. Donations to our food bank typically slow in the summer months precisely when the need among their clients is greatest. Everything we raise will stay local and benefit Atlanta Community Food Bank.
This is an excellent investment – with every $1 donated to the food bank, they can distribute 4 meals worth of food into our community. Let’s rise to the challenge and do our part to reduce hunger in Georgia! Share with everyone – friends, family, clients! This is everyone’s fight!
How to Participate:
Online donations can be made through our team page: https://give.acfb.org/team/423294 between April 18 – 29
