Troy Hart joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 1997 and is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. He is licensed in Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky and is the managing partner of the Knoxville, Tennessee; Nashville, Tennessee; Jacksonville, Florida; Lexington, Kentucky offices. His field of concentration is in Civil Litigation and Workers’ Compensation Defense, and also works in the areas of Professional Malpractice, Nursing Home Defense, Insurance Defense, Torts, Subrogation, Real Estate litigation, Commercial Real Estate transactions, and contracts.

Born in Evansville, Indiana, September 16, 1967, Troy was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1997, into Tennessee Bar in 2003 and Kentucky Bar in 2011 after receiving his J.D. from Thomas Cooley Law School. He is also admitted to the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia, Supreme Court of Tennessee, Middle District of Tennessee, Eastern District of Tennessee, Tennessee Supreme Court Judicial Department, and Supreme Court of Kentucky. He received his B.S. (1990), and his M.S. (1993) in Criminal Justice from Auburn University. Troy is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the State Bar of Tennessee, State Bar of Kentucky, Cobb Bar Association and Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.

Troy lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is a member of First Baptist Concord and enjoys the outdoors and being involved in community activities, including coaching little league baseball, softball and basketball.

Harry Tear joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 1997 and is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. He specializes in workers’ compensation insurers defense and has represented many insurance companies, third party administrators and self-insured employers throughout the state.

He has spoken to various groups on all aspects of workers’ compensation law in Georgia & has been honored to speak at the Workers Compensation Law Institute on multiple occasions. He received a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from The University of Virginia in 1991 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1994 after receiving his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized as a Top Lawyer of Georgia by the National Law Journal. He is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association and the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Harry served two terms on the State Bar of Georgia Formal Advisory Opinion Board and previously served on the Wellstar Foundation.

Appointed to the Rules Committee for the State Board of Workers’ Compensation Chairman’s Advisory Council in 2018.

Harry and his wife, Jennifer, live in Marietta, with their two children, Lauren and Harry IV.

Rodney McColloch joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 1996 and is currently a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. His legal fields of concentration are in workers’ compensation defense, general insurance defense, insurance coverage disputes, and subrogation litigation.

Born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, June 6, 1967, Rodney received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Georgia. He has worked for numerous insurance companies, third party administrators, and self-insured companies in both the Insurance Defense and Workers’ Compensation area.

He is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association and a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Since 2005, he has been recognized with the Rising Star Award for Top Georgia Lawyers in the area of Workers Compensation. He has also served on the State Board of Workers’ Compensation Rules Committee and is currently on the Chairman’s Steering Committee for the Annual State Board of Workers’ Compensation Education Conference. He frequently speaks on topics related to Workers’ Compensation Laws in Georgia.

Rodney lives in Kennesaw, GA with his wife, Amy, and their three daughters, Maddie, Meagan and Meghan.

Kevin Carlock joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 1995 and is currently a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department where he specializes in Workers’ Compensation Defense.

Born in Summit, New Jersey, May 6, 1966, Kevin received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech, his J.D. from Mercer University Law School and was admitted to the bar in 1992. Kevin works primarily in the area of workers’ compensation representing several different insurers including Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., Georgia Administrative Services, Builders Insurance Group, Alternative Service Concepts, Sedgwick CMS, PMA Insurance Group and ESIS. He is a member of the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Association, the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Cobb County Bar Association.

Kevin, his wife Anne, and daughters Caroline and Emily live in Sandy Springs.

Pete Frech joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2016 as an associate attorney in the Brentwood office. His current areas of practice include Insurance Defense, Workers’ Compensation, Family Law, and Probate & Estates.

Pete is a Middle Tennessee native and graduated from White House High School. After high school, Pete served in the United States Marine Corps working in Military Police as a Corrections Specialist. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008, graduating cum laude.

Pete attended law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law where he earned his J.D. with a Concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution in 2012. While in law school, Pete participated on the AAJ Mock Trial Team, was the Articles Editor for The Tennessee Journal of Law & Policy, and interned at the United States Department of the Interior, and both the Davidson County and Knox County District Attorney’s Offices. Prior to joining Moore, Ingram, Johnson & Steele, Pete worked in a high volume family law and criminal law firm, earning a reputation as an effective negotiator and trial advocate for his clients.

Pete lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and daughter in the Inglewood/East Nashville area. When he is not devoting his time to law, Pete enjoys spending his time outdoors camping and hiking. He is also a fan of the Tennessee Titans.
